Earth Simulations Releases Alderney for FSX...

It's been a labour of love and the results clearly show that. Earth Simulations recently released the first in their Channel Islands series, Alderney for FSX.
With their unspoiled landscapes and unique blend of British and French influences, the Channel Isles really are a place where you can get away from it all to enjoy your simulation experience more than ever before. Explore wonderfully rugged coastlines full of beautiful shallows and fine detail.
Fly in any weather, at any time of day and in any season you wish.
With five unique sets of 30cm Resolution Day Textures, full 30cm resolution Night Textures, hand crafted 5m terrain elevation mesh, custom 3D buildings and incredible autogen, the list goes on.
This scenery is surely a showcase for what can be achieved with FSX and sets the bar to the highest level seen so far.
Visit the Earth Simulations website for details and purchase/download!

Earth Simulations is born...

Those interested in the UK scenery scene would be well advised to check out the Earth Simulations wesbite.
Earth Simulations has been founded by a former colleague and friend Darren Vincent and his wife Vikki, who are both now developing what could turn out to be one of the best pieces of scenery for FSX, ever.
With a bit of luck, scenery of this quality might one day in the not too distant future make it's way into X-Plane too.
Lets hope that the recent news from Microsoft regarding the closure of it's Aces Studio (which is very sad indeed) might have some benefit to the X-Plane simulator, and the availabilty of quality scenery addons for it.

Apologies for the Web Site Downtime
A recent problem with the database backend meant that the whole site has been down over the weekend.
Thankfully it's now been restored and no data has been lost!

Merry Christmas!
It's that time of year again, and since we've just had a new version of X-Plane (the 9.00 betas) a number of you are asking if the England & Wales Photographic Scenery still works with this new version.
Well, the answer is that we don't yet know as we havn't had a chance to fully evaluate and test it. This will be a task for the New Year.
Some of you have also asked over the past year or so if the England & Wales Photographic Scenery will be updated to use any of the features of X-Plane 8 (and now 9). We'll be looking at this in the New Year too, so tune in again shortly.
We wish all our supporters and customers a Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year!
